In the quiet hours of this morning, our first Operations crew packed up and headed out for the Navajo Nation.

This first crew of 11 won't begin work until Monday, but the drive alone is about 12 hours, and the crew has an orientation on Sunday. They will work the entire week to help bring power to households in the Navajo Nation that are still without it all these decades later.

The opportunity to participate in Light Up Navajo, along with other utilities, to build electric infrastructure, run lines, and change lives by powering homes, is nothing short of a blessing.

Ballots were mailed on Thursday, May 14, and included a link to a secure web portal where all active Members can cast their ballots to approve meeting minutes and vote for Districts 2 and 7.
