Ready for pens, fans, and lights!! I am getting so excited to move the silkies babes in here!!!

Anyone local have a maticoopx incubator they might want to let me borrow or trade for silkies?? I have eggs coming in and completely didn’t think about it when I set my incubator the other day 🤦‍♀️ If not, I guess I am buying a 5th incubator 😆 and overnighting it while my shipped eggs settle.

I LOVE getting updates on babies once they leave the farm. I was able to help this sweet chickee become a momma by sharing some close to lock down eggs from the incubator, and momma finished off the hatch 🐣 4 babies and counting.

Safe to say, she’s a proud momma and even happier that she’s getting maternity treatment via a maternity private room and hand delivered cold berries and oats 😍

When mom flips the light on…. And you get caught eating your midnight…. Or in this case 9pm snack 😆 I LOVE chicks! Can’t I just keep hatching forever so I always have babies on the farm????

Next up, I’ll be caulking the floor to wall joints and painting the final boards on the floor. The rest of my material for the inside build will be arriving this week as the floor dries and cures a little more.

I can’t wait see the inside start to come to life!
