Athena Meneses, a 14 year old Mexican national team member, recently broke the national 50 meter butterfly record at the FINA Junior World Championship on August 23rd. Her father has been using the 19 Week Training Program since November 2018.
In the last few weeks, Brad Burget, the author of the 19 week program, was contacted by the Meneses family and will begin coaching Athena as well as writing her daily workouts for both swim and strength training.

Let’s administer test sets while maintaining yardage goals. Work in as you see fit but try to complete during the week.
The test sets are to establish repeat pace per 100’s on all strokes to help the swimmer and coach adjust send offs for the Holiday training demands.
