So, I've been promoting the upcoming Neil Young show ..
(haha, and I'm not that good at promotions! d'oh!)

And, it's THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, April 11th, at the Rambling House -- doors at 6 pm. Please get your tickets soon, we would LOVE to see you. And it's for a great cause -- feeding our neighbors.)

And I've been posting that I have a "super secret guest star" joining me for the show. (It'll be a duet!)

And here's some MORE to remember -- me and my SUPER SECRET GUEST STAR go FIRST, right at 7:00 ...

Blink, and you'll miss us.

Which would be a shame.

Because even though I've known this fine man for, literally, decades -- and even though we've shared a stage on many, many occasions -- we've never actually played together, just me and him.

And when we got together to try these Neil Young songs -- to "make them our own" -- it was magic.

The kind of magic that, sometimes, when we musicians somehow manage to really feel the moment -- can bring chills to your spine.

His name is Stefan Farrenkopf (I know the OATH faithful remember "Any Questions"!) , and I am honored, and often laughing -- and crying -- whenever I have the privilege to see him and shoot the breeze about life.

We get emotional! We try to chip away at what's "real."

His fierce intellect, his sharp wit, his unbridled goofiness, his generous spirit, all combine in a man I'm so very grateful to call "friend."

And, WOW! The guy is a badass musician!

Which, of course, I KNEW ... but, man, as "just" a duo? Boy, does he shine!

It's gonna be fun! Nikole and friends sing like angels! And Harper is amazing (and only in the 4th grade!)
