Still working and collecting Social Security? There's a limit you need to know.

If you haven't reached full retirement age yet, the SSA will reduce your benefits if your earnings exceed $24,480 in 2026 — withholding $1 for every $2 you earn above that threshold.

This catches a lot of people off guard. The good news? Once you reach full retirement age, the earnings limit disappears entirely.
