Friendships! Let’s talk about ‘em!!!! When you have a few good ones, your life is easily elevated.
Check out some of these red flags to assess you friendships!
Though small, my friendship circle radiates with accountability, laughter, prayer, and straight up shenanigans (which I love lol).
That wasn’t always my truth! And to this day, I find that most of the work I do doubles it’s way back to many of the things I have experienced in friendship.
You might have noticed that I been a little off the scene! That’s mostly because I’ve been really trying to hone in on what parts of mental health are really “my thing” besides just be a dope, trappy, hood and good black therapist! And that’s friendship!
Now be sure to tell a friend to tell a friend and make sure your friends are really yo friends!

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to join my gal pal and the best massage therapist around .
We talked about the importance of stress management and how to do so mentally and physically!
One of my favorite things about being a dope therapist is that I have the opportunity to connect with others who are invested in the wellness or other.
Thanks for having me sis!
Y’all be sure to check her out if you’re in the Columbus Area!

Thank you to MANRRS for having me yesterday at their regional cluster meeting this weekend.
MANRRS is an organization dedicated to Black students and professionals who are in the agriculture and STEM fields! This group of young people is BRIGHT!
We talked about self-care specifically for their field and I learned a lot as well!
Thank God for another opportunity to put mental health in non-traditional platforms!

There would be no Mental Health Manager if there was no TEDxKLB. In 2018 I was a speaker and I’ve volunteered every year since.
It is one of the greatest because it highlights the work of Black people doing work in OUR community! It’s beautiful and rich!
Being a speaker along with my God gift has allowed me go (and I am still going) places that I never dreamed of.
