I wish to thank all of you for all your kind words, condolences and heart felt sentiments. It is very clear that Flipper was loved and cared for deeply. This is the second reminder of Flippers COL for Saturday April 6. If you are coming, it would be helpful if you post so; PM me here or email me, just so we have a basic headcount. Its not essential but helpful. If you don't know, or change your mind to join us at last minute that's fine as well.

It is with the utmost extreme sadness and grief that I share that the most beautiful, sweet, sexy, awesome, courageous, talented, and beloved, wife, soulmate, companion and life loving soul departed to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 16. My dearest “Lil Flipper” aka “Pretty Petunia” aka “Nanou” aka Diane Elizabeth Gerard-Patterson, after a several years of battle with BVFTD (Dementia). She passed in her sleep, laying next to me and near her beloved dog Lobo. The shock of her loss is impossible to share with mere words,…all of you that knew her can relate . It seems incredibly unfair when sweet souls like Flipper leave us so early. She was a gifted artist, karaoke singer, paraglider pilot, ballerina/dancer and all around sweetheart. Flipper didn’t have a combative/mean spirit. We NEVER fought...ever. It wasn’t really her “time” to go, but she was called home anyway. There will NEVER be another” Lil Flipper” She was so incredibly courageous throughout this struggle. We were together for 22 years, and married the last 4. It is simply impossible for me, right now, to share all the photos/memories etc. but here are a few…I/we will see her again very soon. TO MY BELOVED FLIPPER: You are now free from that ugly dementia which robbed you of so much. God Bless you my sweet beautiful Flipper. YOU WERE MY LIFE!
