Year ago tonight…😉

On the way back to our little lemon farm in Minori from an adventurous day down the Amalfi coastline we pulled off and snapped some shots of the night sky.

Year ago today…

Last year and I were in Italy for 2 months and I really didn’t share much content from our trip, so thinking it’d be fun to post some of that content over the next few weeks from last year on the same day! Stay tuned!

Made some pour over with the bag from my previous post, Inmaculada from
Wanted to compare the pour over to the espresso I have been making with these beans.

Today’s pour over recipe:
Brewer used: Kalita Wave
1:16 ratio
22g coffee
350g water
3:30 min brew

First and foremost it was very tasty! I really enjoyed it and will definitely do it as pour over again! With that said though, I think I’m going to tinker with the pour over brew process to see if I can get an extraction with more depth of flavor. This cup I made only hinted at the roasters’ flavors. Going to start with going a tad finer on the grind so the water drips through just a bit slower and extracts some more flavor on the way down.

But again, this coffee… *chef’s kiss* 👏😊
