This is a toadstool rattle I've been "working on" since before I was pregnant with my first son in 2009. I've had to redo each part of it numerous times because it's over my head. Tonight I went out for a couple of hours and came back to find it strewn around my bedroom with the needles pulled out. I guess this was the impetus I needed to get back to work. Maybe it'll be done before baby #3 arrives in a month. Ha ha ha

I told C he couldn't make set-ups on the dining room floor anymore [right in the walkway], and this was his solution. Accompanied by the new song he wrote for his little brother: "For Babies it's a Model; For Big Boys it's a Toy." You know, because you don't play with models.
