The Puerto Rican Student Association (PRSA) at the Ohio State University mission shall be to meet the needs of the Puerto Rican undergraduate, graduate and professional students attending The Ohio State University through the active engagement and opportunity with the broader OSU community both on and off campus. For our service event this semester, PRSA is collecting non-perishable foods and toiletries for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective! Please feel free to drop off donation items in person at our donation box in the Multicultural Center in the Ohio Union, or donate online at: https://give.midohiofoodbank.org/Default.aspx?tsid=14374
According to their partner agencies, the items needed most include:
Chili with beans
Canned fruit (in juice or light syrup)
Tuna
Canned vegetables
Canned meat
Soup with vegetables
Peanut butter
BEYOND FOOD – In addition to food, they distribute personal care items:
Deodorant (any)
Shampoo/Conditioner
Bar soap
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes (for people of all ages)
Body wash
