Today I had the opportunity to visit the Franklin County Animal Shelter to see first hand how it operates and what is needed to help its residents. Many of its residents arrive needing medical attention and outside funding is needed to save the dogs life. My late Aunt Judith Vierow supported the organization Friends of the Shelter when she was alive by donating some art each year to support their fund raising event Pup Art Sale. Since Judy's passing Judy's Attic who's mission is to find homes for the Art Judy left behind and raise money who make the world a better place continues to Support Friends of the Shelter by donating art and proceeds from the sale of her Art. I am pleased to announce that for the second year Judy's attic will make both Art and Cash donation to this great organization. Our 2 year total cash contributions will total $2,830. Over 98% of The cash contributions go directly towards the medical needs of the residents of the Franklin County Animal Shelter.
