I'm back for Day 61 of my A–Z Dog Cozy Breed Share and fun facts! Today’s star is the Miniature Pinscher!
The breed was actually created by a combination of the German Pinscher, Italian Greyhound, and Dachshund in Germany over 200 years ago! Traditionally, many people mistake them for "Mini Dobermans," but they are actually a much older breed! They were originally bred to be fearless "ratters" in barns, and they still carry that bold, bossy attitude today. They are living proof that you don't need to be big to be the king of the castle (or the king of the coffee cup!)
