Y'all. I'm SO EXCITED that I will be set up at The Peacock Room inside the Fisher Building tomorrow from 11-5! The building is beautiful and the store is amazing! I had to do a little shopping today! 😉 If you're in SE Michigan, come see me tomorrow before I head back to GA!

This feels so special to me.

Customers at shows always ask me where I'm from. This spring, lots of people started asking me if I have read Theo of Golden when they find out I'm from Columbus, GA (the town in the book is modeled after Columbus, GA). So I've been wanting to read this book for a while but haven't gotten to it yet.

Then, when I was on my way up to Michigan, I stayed one night at my parent's house on the way. My mom had this book sitting out and I told her that I had been wanting to read it and asked if I could possibly borrow it for my trip. She had finished it, but my Dad was actively reading it so I couldn't borrow it yet.

But the organizers of Plymouth Art In The Park gifted every artist at the show a copy of the book! Such a sweet surprise that felt so meaningful to me. Thank you!
