The Price of Permission

Freedom tastes like blasphemy to those still praying for approval.

Don’t mistake that for arrogance....
that is what freedom looks like when it stops apologizing for existing

We mistake compliance for peace.
We mistake silence for stability.
And when we refuse to join society's quiet little compromise, they call it rebellion.

Freedom is not comfort. It’s not rebellion, either.

It’s walking away from the meal everyone’s still pretending to enjoy.
It’s saying no and not explaining why.
It’s watching the tower burn and not needing to justify lighting the match.
We keep trying to sell safety as virtue.
We think authority means wisdom, that obedience is love, that approval is currency....

But I don’t live in your economy anymore....

You can call me selfish because I stopped letting you feed on my insecurities.
You can call me cruel because I won’t apologize for my hunger.
You can call me lost because I won’t kneel at your altar of acceptable desires.

Here’s the truth:
I am not bound by other's comfort.
I do not need other's applause.
And I sure as hell don’t need their forgiveness.

You are angry because I remind you of the cage you built. Because I am everything you could be if you stopped negotiating with your own fears. Because freedom isn’t given... it’s taken, and you haven't had the nerve.... yet.

So keep your outrage...
It’s the sound of your chains rattling.

The Gravity of Obsession

Obsession isn’t weakness. It is the pull of gravity when someone recognizes a force larger than themselves.

You don’t choose it. You fall into it.

My presence does not ask. It bends. It pulls. It draws you closer each time you try to drift. The harder you resist, the heavier it becomes, until you understand resistance is not escape... It is gravity pulling you back to me.

This is not infatuation. Infatuation is fragile, easily broken by silence or distance. Obsession survives both. It grows in the quiet. It sharpens in the absence. It carves itself into you until the idea of freedom feels like starvation.

Obsession is not about wanting. Want is optional. Obsession is need. And when need takes hold, you stop pretending you have a choice and recognize you have purpose.

You will find me in your thoughts when you try to sleep. You will feel me in the phantom weight on your skin. You will hear my voice in the silence between your own words.

That is the gravity of me.

I don’t chase. I don’t plead. I don’t have to.
You circle because gravity doesn't ask for permission...

You are drawn to me because your soul knows where it belongs.

Obsession is not weakness.
It's the first Law of my Universe.
