Every once in a while, a client will reach out with a photo they’d like to have painted, this time was extra special. ♥️

I’ve actually painted this little girl before! And it’s been a joy to get to watch her grow up through painting. This piece was a gift from her grandmother to her mother and took me about 35 hours to complete!

When I first got into live wedding painting, one of the aspects of the job that I came to adore the most was the *uniform*- I.e. wedding clothes 😍
I didn’t always love dressing up. As a child, I was a self identified tomboy who proudly stuck with her staple basketball shorts, t-shirt, and crocks attire. I did everything I could to avoid looking too *girly*, because in my mind, that meant I’d be ridiculed. However, the older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve come to adore my girly side- the part of me that loves frills and flounces and pretty things to wear.
Weddings are such a lovely chance to go all out and dress up in style every time. Each outfit feels like an extension of me, and my clothes have quickly become a second form of artistic expression for me 🥰
