Taken almost 80 years ago in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. My uncles and aunt as kids.

I can’t imagine what the world was like back then. Restoring these photos is like time travel.

Betty Shabazz, also known as Betty X, was an American educator and civil rights advocate who was married to Malcolm X. Shabazz grew up in Detroit, Michigan. May we never forget this powerhouse.
