Yesterday our Founder & CEO was honored to have a voice at the 2nd Annual Black Maternal Health Summit alongside a few of our amazing partners.

Fathers belong in this conversation. If we’re serious about reducing infant mortality, including dads has to be intentional, not an afterthought.

Black History Month isn’t just about what’s in the books.
It’s about what gets passed down at home.

The sayings.
The stories.
The music.
The way we show up for our kids.

Fathers carry a lot of that forward every day — passing down values, pride and family traditions that stick for generations.

Dads, what’s one thing you’re intentionally passing down to your children?

Or what’s something a father or father figure passed down to you that you still carry today?

Big shoutout to WKBN 27 Youngstown OH for highlighting what’s happening with Dads2B in Mahoning Valley.

This program is about real support for expectant dads—no lectures, no judgment, just practical tools, honest conversations, and a community that wants to see fathers win from day one.

If you’re about to be a dad (or know someone who is), this is your sign. Pull up. Get connected. Be part of something built for you.

Earlier today, we officially kicked off Dads2B in the Mahoning Valley.

What stood out wasn’t just attendance—it was intention. Community partners, advocates, and leaders showed up ready to engage in real conversation about why supporting fathers before birth matters and how early investment changes outcomes for families.

The dialogue was thoughtful. The alignment was clear. There is a shared commitment to doing this work with purpose.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped set the foundation for what Dads2B will become in this region.
