Hello! I am new here to bookstagram and am excited to begin putting out content!

I have seen this book all over Instagram and tiktok and needed to read it. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it didn’t live up to the hype.

The book was so much more intense than I expected. Colleen’s writing style was all over the place and what frustrates me was how my my emotions toward the characters constantly changed. I just couldn’t relate to lily. Her relationship with Ryle was too rushed and I don’t think they had time to fall in love.

Then Colleen tried to add too much to the plot than what I thought was needed. When Atlas was introduced with his homelessness I just wanted to close the book.

I usually love to read books of this sort, but sadly Colleen didn’t do it for me. Can’t say this is a bad book or a book I regret reading, but it did not meet my expectations.

Feel free to recommend any other CH books because I’m open to any new suggestions!
