Throwback Thursday with another BQMRA alumni! Taylor Nibert started her racing career at BQMRA. After retiring from quarter midgets, she hopped into a dirt midget and has been seen racing at dirt tracks across the Midwest! She's currently been focusing on school, but we hope to see her back in a race car soon!!!

This weekend we’ll be headed to Gas City I-69 Speedway on Friday night and Montpelier Motor Speedway on Saturday night to kick off our busy next couple of weeks!

Getting ready for the weekend

04/19/2022

Updated start time information for this Saturday's race at Montpelier Motor Speedway listed on photo. Pre-entries sit at 22 cars currently, and include last years points runner-up Stratton Briggs, who's gunning to replace Jacob Denney as points champion (Denney is focused on select USAC/POWRi races with Mounce/Stouts Motorsports). The remainder of the 2021 series regulars are expected to be in action (with exception of Zack Gingerich, who is still finalizing his shift from Focus to Ecotec power, and Aaron Leffel who is stepping away from racing at this time) including Bryce Massingill, Ian Creager, Chett Gehrke, Abby Hohlbein, Josh Yenser, Kyle Dager in the 2nd Briggs car, new dad Bryce Dues, Tommy Kouns (with a 2nd car for Isaac Johnson), Cory Guingrich, Kyle Kreigbaum, Cody Dye (in a new Ecotec powered car) and veteran Jim Jones. Gunnar Lucius will return to the series with a new Honda powered midget, while Michael Magic recently moved from Georgia to Indiana to become a series regular. Taylor Nibert returns on a parttime basis for Team Taylor, while Luke Lemons returns after a season ending crash at Gas City last Fall. Carl Peterson, Wes Pinkerton Jody Paul and Kyle Keaton got a couple races under their belts last season and all plan to be regulars in 2022.

Big thanks to Rosewood Machine and Tool Company returning as the "Precision Move of the Race' sponsor; Heat race sponsors K&M Tool and Die and Brewhouse DriveThru, and Performance Powder Coating LLC who shift over to the hard Charger award and title sponsor for our races at Waynesfield Raceway Park. Still working on a overall series sponsor and the third heat race winner sponsor.

Thanks to Larry Boos and the Montpelier staff for all you do! Look forward to kicking off 2022 with the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series, United States Speed Association Kenyon midgets and the Montpelier Modifieds on a sunny and warm Saturday!
