NEXT Saturday, March 7th... It's going down. The Communal Sound Winter Concert! Featured artists like Tracey Tiernan, Mario Rentuma, Dave Rhen, Stephen Waddy, David Phillips, David Lerner, John Praphit, and Royce Morris.

Sitting here, having breakfast, thinking about what to communicate with my email list this morning. I always want what I send to be thoughtful and hopefully, helpful to those who subscribe to my email list.
There are so many things I could talk about. I could talk about how important it is that you use your voice everyday. I could talk about how vocalists and public speakers need to always connect to their audiences, first, before sharing information. I could talk about how awesome my husband is 🙂
But today... what keeps coming up is ... The Communal Sound Choir. Registration is currently open for you and your friends to join. I would love for the Winter 2026 season to hold 30 people at its minimum. That would be so cool to spend time in January and February making music with this lovely group.
There are 10 spots left. One is for you...and a friend. C'mon. Let's sing together and make something beautiful in the winter.

The Communal Sound Choir Debut Concert surpassed all of my expectations on Saturday. We have been mulling over whether to start this for years. It didn't exist just 6 months ago.

This past October, the desire to bring people together to sing, experience joy and belonging, and be a catalyst for beauty through song was realized by this founding group of incredible people.

Saturday, we had a packed house for our very first concert - the first of many - and it was everything I hoped for. I got to make music with people I love and people I just met, and am building relationship with. We created the largest singing room in Howard County on Saturday and I am INVIGORATED, grateful, and pressing forward.
