Our code runs and so do we 🏃‍♂️‍➡️ 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

There were a few less runners at this year's race but just as much spirit! Proud of Team Red Alpha for waking up early to finish strong at the AFCEA Central Maryland (CMD) for Excellence, all to help support the next generation of STEM leaders.

Another successful ! 🧔🐾

For the 6th year in a row, our members started February clean-shaven and finished the month with full (and sometimes questionable) faces of hair, all in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Some grew impressive beards, some grew fancy beards, and others, well, they gave it their best shot. In the end, though, strategy and genetics didn’t matter much, it really came down to who could rally the most votes 💲 💵

We’re proud to share that, thanks to everyone’s efforts and generosity, our members raised close to $1,000 this year. 🎉

A big thank you to everyone who participated, voted, and supported the cause. We’re already looking forward to next year’s facial hair masterpieces!

🥶 Team Red Alpha takes the Plunge🥶

We thought last year was bad....year 5 was BRUTAL. By 3:30 PM, it felt like 15 degrees, and somehow the bay at a "balmy" 33 degrees felt like a hot tub ♨️. The neighboring marina? A literal iceberg. But Team Red Alpha, undeterred and armed with donuts and coffee, ran straight into that bay (some twice), without hesitation.

Year 5 of plunging is officially in the books and once again we're proud to support the Special Olympics Maryland. Even better? Everyone survived to see year 6....hopefully they'll be thawed out by then 🙃
