Advice to brides:
Recently did the photography for a wedding reception where there was only a seating chart provided to the caterer, there were no table signs, no way for guests to know where to sit except by lining up to the catering manager who directed them to a table. There weren't enough chairs nor place settings - and so there was at least a half hour of people running around getting more chairs, putting out more place setting, etc. Not a pretty sight.
Recommend a posted seating chart, table signs...that way, someone would have seen that there weren't enough to go around. That should have been caught by the wedding planner...but it was not.
