21 years ago I used to assist a handful of photographers who were masters in architecture photography. Immediately I noticed that the true art behind an architectural photo is how the artist handles and creates the lighting. This usually required a FULL truckload of equipment. Technology has made it easier, but a great photo still requires production.

I’m truly grateful of the experience and the friends I met along the way.

Back in 2020 when the world was on a standstill I knew my photography would take a shift. I explored many photo techniques. One of them is the art of capturing light that is beyond the visible spectrum. With a specialized camera I started capturing the world in infrared. 830 nanometers to be exact.

I hit the road and started photographing. Over the last 6 years : Many National Parks and Monuments, 10s of 1000s of miles driven, 100s of 1000s of photographs taken and I have no idea how many miles walked.

Currently, I'm working hard to put together a collection of these adventures and publish them as a coffee table photo book. Stay tuned. Here's a teaser.
