For the first time, Jackie and I got to go to rather than just hearing longingly about what a great time other editors had. The two of us met so many lovely people, had great chats, and learned a lot from the sessions. Where else can you go to a presentation on the history of English grammar, a pun slam, and a session on advocacy for editing all in one day? Hope we can come back sometime soon!

Atlanta was beautiful as always—had to stop by the aquarium to say hello to the whale shark and otters.
