We had a wonderful day at State Solo/Small Ensemble contest this weekend. Thirteen students spent the better half of the semester preparing for this event, and we couldn’t be more proud of the results!

The Clever Chamber Choir and Clever Concert Choir competed at MSHSAA large ensemble contest today, taking home silver and gold ratings respectively. We are so proud of our amazing singers and can’t wait to finish the year strong with showcase in a couple weeks!

Madeline Swope is our last senior spotlight of the year! Maddie is the president of choir and theatre, vice president of FCA, and a member of Do-Gooders, NHS, FTA, and FBLA. Although moving around the country, she has been singing in choir since fourth grade!

Maci Peters is our next senior spotlight of the year! Maci is the president of Do-Gooders, a member of student council, and on the leadership team for National Honor Society.

Mylo Goodin is our next senior spotlight of the year! Mylo sings in the baritone section of both Chamber Choir and Concert Choir. He is also a frequent performer at Springfield Little Theatre!

Jesslyn Martinez is our next senior spotlight of the year! Jess is a member of band, winter guard, and theatre. She has also been singing with Clever Choirs since fourth grade!

Can’t wait for Maci Peters to represent Clever High School at the 2026 Missouri All-State Honor Choir!
