Couldn't have done it without you.
If I never failed, I'd never know I could make it back when I did.
The tests were rough, but the testimonies were worth it.
Remember, if you don't learn the lesson, you'll keep having to re-take the test.

🌩️ Been through the storm, bent, splintered, stretched but not broken.
🥊Been knocked down, but not knocked out.
🏃🏾♀️Fell down, but I got back up, brushed the dirt off and got back in the game.
🧮 Failed too many times to count but never but still not a failure.
🕯️Been in the darkest dark, but stil had the faith to see the light in my mind, even when I didn't see it (yet) in real time. I wanted to give up but I couldn't as long as could still envision that light.
🥵 Been through hell, didn't stop to see the sites, had to keep me head up and eyes forward cause I got places to be and hell was just a pass through to get there.
🪖 I stand here now, tried, tested, and here to share the testimony, fortified and suited up, ready for the next battle to come.
🙏🏽 God help me.

We have to stop treating happiness as if it's a destination, when in fact, it is a decision.
That decision is rooted best in gratitude, realizing that although life is not always a bed of roses, that it is still a garden.
Happiness connected to things, places and people can be short-lived almost like a high, you have to keep doing again to achieve the same high again. If you buy a new pair of shoes, you might have that temporary 'high' but eventually the newness and the feeling wears off and now you gotta buy a new pair of shoes and the cycle repeats itself. It's not something that's perpetual.
If you spend time waiting to be happy "one day", chances are pretty good that you could wait one day too long and too late.
Or you can make the choice to happily live instead of living in hopes of one day somehow achieving or arriving at a place called happiness.
Happiness doesn't always mean that you just walk around grinning like a Cheshire cat all the time, happiness is often being content in knowing that you have so much to be happy about and at any given moment you could recall a reason.
Give it some thought, despite what you may be facing, try (I mean really try) to consider some reasons to be grateful and reasons that can support the choice to be happy.
