Butterfly Pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea) are a naturally caffeine-free botanical rich in anthocyanins, the antioxidants responsible for their distinctive blue color!

Enjoy it warm, iced, or with a splash of lemon to watch it transform into a beautiful purple hue! 🌸🍵

This herbal infusion provides a simple and enjoyable way to incorporate antioxidant-rich plant compounds into your daily routine. 💙🍵

Fun Fact: Anthocyanins are responsible for the purples, reds, and blues in plants that we consume, making them full of antioxidants!

We now have Chicken Broth! With all the bones from the chicken we’ve processed, and now there’s a new way to not waste any part of the bird 🐓!

We have been collaborating with A & A Cuisine 🍅 Homemade Food to have a commercially available chicken broth made from our chicken!

This broth has a rich mix of necks, backs, and saddles. The broth can be drank as a soup or used to cook your carbs like rice, pasta or even for boiling potatoes 👀

Stop by at either our stall at Fulshear Farmers' Market or A & A Cuisine 🍅 Homemade Food at any of their markets to get some!

This broth supports us by freeing up freezer space so we can raise more birds for y’all to enjoy and helps us grow our farm to help feed more of the community 🥰

Lemon BeeBalm (Monarda citriodora) is a common prairie plant that grows all over our front yard!

This herb contains Thymol and Carvacrol which are both antimicrobial compounds found in Thyme and Oregano.

This wild mint has hints of spicy oregano and the warm, tingly feeling or thyme wrapped in one, with some notes of sage.

The steam of the tea can be used to clear sinuses and the tea itself helps mobilize stagnant metabolic functions like mucus metabolism or overall digestion when drank.

The antimicrobial properties help with fungal skin infections when the tea is applied topically, and it keeps the bugs away!

As we create habitat diversity on the farm, we’re finding plants that thrive in these microclimates and provide us with a variety of uses and products to share!

With the harvest of these plants from functional habitat, it’s super important to leave some and reseed for next year.
We’re done with the harvest for the year so grab yours soon, we have a limited stock!

Order online from the link in our bio or see us at the farmers market!

Here’s a video of us making rooster curry with our Heritage-breed bird.

We give the bird a light sear before browning down our onions, aromatics and spices, then adding tomatoes and the chicken back to the crockpot and letting it go on the poultry setting. Served over rice or a bread of choice!

We hatch and raise these heritage breed birds from our egg layers. They grow slower on pasture, chasing their own bugs for 16+ weeks, developing life skills, golden fat, redder meat, and a rich flavor made for low-and-slow cooking.

On our farm we raise both Cornish and heritage chickens - and we love them both. Cornish birds are tender and familiar, perfect for frying and baking!

This upcoming weekend, we are bringing a limited batch of heritage birds to the and we hope you give them a try!

Different birds, different experiences, both absolutely delicious.

Have you tried a heritage breed rooster before?

Now that the spring chicken season has wrapped up, here’s a little recap of how it went!

We faced two major cold fronts with freezing temps, some heavy rains and a whole lot of pasture planning and p**p scooping while they were in the brooder.

It’s hard work and our prices reflect the quality of a bird raised on pasture with no hormones, no antibiotics, no vaccinations and no medicated feed.

As members of we uphold the standards of how these birds are raised, processed and treated throughout their lifespan.

Big thank you to for the chicks being delivered healthy and their crew for the timely deliveries and communication.

Shoutout to MACI Feed & Supply for always ensuring we have a steady supply of the unmedicated feed thst the birds have access to as they grow!

Our inventory is on our website, and we regularly attend and with our other products as well as chicken.

Get your chicken while supplies last!

We won’t raise meat birds until the fall, when the weather starts getting cooler. The cornishes don’t do well in Texas summer heat.
