Before I had even applied to put my name in the running for the Director of the at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I met with the then-director about an idea I had for Pride Month. I wanted to see about partnering on a film screening fundraiser for this institution I love. I suggested showing a film by one of my favorite filmmakers, Pedro Almodóvar, and have BVH selling treats before the show. Fast forward several months and I am now the new Director of the Cinematheque at the Cleveland Institute of Art when this planned screening will be happening!
