Yesterday was Day ONE of our Regional Gathering in the Akron/Canton region! Noonday Prayer and Compline anchored our day, there was a CPG lunch, clergy spouses gathered, office hours with my staff, and a lovely and deeply thoughtful workshop on how DOhio can live into our vision. I came away inspired by the conversations and worship, the dedicated leaders in this diocese, and the creativity and passion we have for living into God’s call on our lives.

Part of our ordination vows as bishops is to take part in the ordination of other bishops. It was a JOY to do so for a friend and colleague, Bishop Sarah Fisher - ninth bishop of The Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina!! They are ready to work together to share the transformative love of Jesus with their communities.
