Check out lover boy, buff Buddy! His days of fighting to survive in Wadsworth are over. He wants to be in the same room as you, without being obtrusive. He also talks to you, checking in with coos and meows. You'll need to teach him how to play. He is 5 or 6 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FeLV negative. He is FIV+, which doesn't much matter now that his sexy, fighting days are over. He does well with other cats -- total peacenik.

Meet Grill, so named because that's where he was hiding and crying to be helped during the last lake-effect winter storm that hit North Ridgeville. His rescuers pulled him out from under their grill cover and brought him to Happy Stripes. He was dehydrated, anemic and underweight, but he's getting better by the day. Meet him at this Medina-area foster home after surgery Jan. 5.
