Wealth isn't the enemy. Forgetting God in the midst of it is.
In Deuteronomy 8, Moses warned Israel not to say, "My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth." Jesus echoed that same warning in the Parable of the Rich Fool. The man wasn't condemned for being wealthy, but for living as if God’s priorities didn’t matter.
So here's the question worth considering this week: Am I storing up treasure for myself, or am I rich toward God?
