5 cleaning mistakes you may be making, part 2! 1. Using Expired products! If you did not already know, your cleaning products EXPIRE!!!!! Avoid Buying in bulk if you aren’t able to use them all before the expiration time! Some common expiration dates include: ��All-purpose cleaner: About 2 years. Baking Soda: 18 months to 2 years. Bleach: 6 months to 1 year. Castile soap: About 3 years. Countertop cleaner: About 2 years. Dish Soap: 6 to 18 months. Drain de-clogger: 2 years. Floor cleaner: 2 yearsSilverware Polish: 3 years �Window Cleaner: 3 years+��2. Washing your microfiber cloths with other fabrics! Microfiber should be washed by itself to maintain the fibers. this is the main reason they come out fuzzy!! Ugh! See my full cleaning video on how to maintain these best!! 3. Using the same product on everything. Stop using bleach on everything in your home. Different surfaces require different kinds of products. Make sure you are caring for your home with the correct items. 4. When cleaning stainless steel, always start with wiping with dish soap and warm water. Polishes claim that they clean, but in actuality they just polish. Make sure to clean the surfaces first, for best results! 5. Not cleaning areas, you “can’t see”. Just cause you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to be cleaned! Make sure you are moving furniture and cleaning under and behind it, because dust travels in the air and could be what is causing dirt around your home!
