tay together despite being scattered across two states for college. Each summer, the quartet spends their weekends performing at weddings and honing their skills. The four consider wedding ceremonies their specialty, and have worked hard over the past 8 years to ensure that the music aligns perfectly with the wedding party's steps down the aisle. Rockport always strives to create music that blends seamlessly into the flow of the ceremony, bringing cohesiveness and ambiance to the big day. The group typically performs in Cleveland and throughout Northeastern Ohio. Some favorite wedding venues include the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Columbus Zoo, St. They also frequently perform outdoors, sometimes in the bride's own backyard! While Pachebel's Canon in D is the most asked-about piece in the repertoire, the group has arranged songs by a wide variety of popular artists, from Journey to U2 to the Beatles. Three members are alumnae of the Lakewood Project Rock Orchestra which blends classical training with rock repertoire, and this experience has been instrumental (pardon the pun!) in bringing these pop-tune requests to life! When not playing Canon in D for beautiful brides, the group has annual performances at St. Luke's Church in Lakewood for their Christmas Eve midnight mass, as well as the Elyria United Methodist Nursing Home.
