🤝Trust Tuesday🤝

Sasha is making great strides in her foster home! Foster mom Alethea says she’s coming to her more and more for love. She very much enjoys naps and relaxing in a quiet place. 💤

She had to take the opportunity to hold her paw during an afternoon siesta and it turned into such a beautiful photograph capturing the trust that these dogs put in us. From a shelter in Bartlett County to a soft couch, Sasha is definitely one of the lucky ones.

We are so thankful for fosters who are patient and understand the needs of a senior shelter dog. ❤️

June 9th is dedicated to taking a moment to remember and honor all pets who have passed away and made the journey over the Rainbow Bridge. However you choose to celebrate them today, please do so with oh so much love. We want to share a poem in their remembrance:

Thanks to two people saying YES, we were able to pull this little old lady after she was off stray hold from Coffee County Animal Control ❤️.

She was incredibly matted including sticks and leaves intertwined into her mats 💔. She is a whopping 6.2 lb and is maybe 10-12 years old? She loves to be loved, and does not seem to mind cats or other dogs.

Her first stop was to see Miss Heather at Paws & Reflect grooming! She had 4 baths to get her clean and she’s feeling so much better and free of mats! Thank you Heather ❤️.

She’s settling in with her temp foster right now, and will see the vet later this week. She will need a dental where she will probably lose all of her remaining teefs. You can tell her mouth is a source of discomfort ❤️‍🩹.

To honor the late Catherine O’hara, this little lady is named Moira Rose 🌹

Our little Nigel had a bath and he shrunk! He is definitely all hair. He loved being swaddled in the towel and stayed there for a bit until he dried off. Foster mom Meredith reports he was a good boy during bath time! 🛁
