Before November ends, we’re grateful for the opportunity to table at two meaningful events! AAPP distributed naloxone and advocated for mental health at NAMIWalks at Angel Stadium in Orange County. We also supported our school at the Bee Kind to Your Mind event, where we provided more naloxone to our college community and promoted mental health awareness, holistic wellness, and prioritizing self-care for long-term academic and personal balance. 🐝🧠🧡

We’re heading back to NAMI Walks OC 2025 at Angels Stadium on Nov 15 (7AM–2PM)!
Come join us for a day of walking, community, and impact 💪 — help us counsel on proper naloxone use and distribute free naloxone kits to the public!

Let’s walk for mental health, harm reduction, and pharmacist representation!

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, our AAPP KGI x NDP team spent the day at the Claremont Village Venture from 8 AM to 5 PM—educating the community on opioid overdose prevention and harm reduction. 💙

Together, we distributed 552 boxes (1,104 doses) of naloxone and provided hands-on counseling to empower our community to save lives.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make this outreach a success! 💊

Special thank you to Dr. Sam Sui, PharmD and Dr. Elson Kim, PharmD from Boehringer Ingelheim for coming to speak at KGI (virtually and in-person). PharmD students interested in both fellowships and residencies gained valuable insight through learning about their journeys and experiences in the pharmacy field.
