Monarch caterpillars, round two! 😍🦋🌱

Now is a good time to plant milkweed and other pollinator-friendly plants, so they can get well established by the time the Monarch butterflies return in September. This OSU Extension Fact Sheet HLA-6503 gives information about starting native milkweed from seed. It’s quite a process! Would you like more hands-on learning about pollinator gardening? We have a dozen pollinator gardens at CommonWealth, and are looking for volunteers who can commit to 2 hours per month working with a couple other pollinator enthusiasts on a specific plot. We'll provide training and assistance.
