I called in the rain gods yesterday. Watered front yard and sprayed off patio after crazy storm last weekend.

Woke up about 5am to pounding rain and rolling thunder. Yippppeeee!

I'm still busily working on the final bookkeeping for my accountant to do my taxes. Is anyone else holding their breath or grouchier than usual right now?

I wrote a great blog today about rising taxes and why it HAS TO HAPPEN in our lifetime. I remember the first house I bought in 1984. I paid 15.75% interest on the loan and that was a good deal back then. Mortgage rates were about 17% on average.

If you do not have a solution to rising taxes and very little cost-of-living on your Social Security income, we need to talk. I might have one excellent idea to share with you.
