Disability Awareness and Acceptance

My name is Rachel Elizabeth Boisvere. I am 17 years old. I am a member of Best Buddies, an intern in a Special Education classroom, and a peer mentor. I plan to become a Special Education teacher. I am a private personal care assistant for a child with cerebral palsy and in the past have worked one-on-one with a preschooler who had Autism at my church. Disability Awareness T-Shirts have been ordered! They will be coming in around June 17th. Thanks to my friends, teachers, and city officials who have helped me with this project, along with all the kind donors and people who bought shirts, this project has managed to raise a total of $474.20 to donate to Best Buddies! Great job everyone and thank you for the continuous support!
