BRO WHAT 🙃 I genuinely don’t understand people. Me being proud of being different and standing out in a vanilla presenting crowd doesn’t mean I think one is better than the other nor is looking vanilla negative. I do however think it takes courage to stand out and wanted to inspire others to do the same. wtf is wrong with people it’s like you say hey I prefer goth girls and they go SO YOU HATE NORMAL PEOPLE? Content creator & influencer are two different things.
I find it interesting that content creation/influencing is dominated by women and it’s looked down on by society. A man does content or posts from a festival and he’s ’so cool’ ‘wow inspo bro I want to attend’ but a woman does it and she’s met with scrutiny and her intentions are IMMEDIATELY questioned because why are you posting at a festival, clearly you’re not there for the music 🙄
It’s actually wild to me that as a VISIBLY alternative woman I have people tell me im the reason the scene is dying or going mainstream, meanwhile those on my page see how hard I work to keep the beauty of the edm scene alive. You won’t ever make everyone happy so CHOOSE YOU NO MATTER WHAT 🖤
