Backyard Chicago

Backyard Chicago endeavors to equip youth with the skills, space, and support to tell stories both true and imagined, simultaneously reflecting reality and imagining alternatives. Our practice is rooted in a belief that storytelling is a critical means through which we process, reflect, and build. We aim to promote healing in the city, initiating and continuing creative dialogue with diverse audiences.
