What started as a special subject has weathered the storm and earned a spot as a permanent subject in MITs prestigious catalog of class offerings. Rap Theory & Practice is a Comparative Media Studies/Writing, Literature & Music undergraduate and graduate level course in MITs Humanities Department but is also open to Harvard, Wellesley & Mass Art students.

So many highlights over the years. Extremely talented and dedicated students from all walks of life exploring and expressing themselves through the lens of this thing called Rap. Some that start from scratch and some that come to refine the skill sets they already possess. Looking forward to the new class of students and what they will learn from and add to the craft.
