Personally, there are few things in this world that can make me more happy than receiving a greeting card containing a hand written note in the mail. It's special and you know that the person who sent that card took the time out of their day to choose the perfect card, just for you, and to write the perfect combination of words inside that perfect card, to express how they feel, just for you. This was a fun custom card to make. As a brain tumor survivor myself (her name is Marla, like from Fight Club) I take celebrating the milestones and anniversaries that follow a craniotomy very seriously. The recipient of this card was having their 1 year surgery anniversary or “Mr. Kimble Day” (like from Kindergarten Cop) and a custom card was mandatory since Hallmark doesn’t really make one for this type of thing. The amount of times I changed that little tumor monster before he seemed just right was too many to count. 🤣

Every year I design the holiday cards my parents send out to friends and family and every year the main subject is their pride and joy: the dog. Here’s the 2023 card — this was a tough year and I thought everyone needed a little extra love here at the end so, dog kisses it is. 😘😛
