Daphne's puppy Sophie checked in to say Happy 4th of July! It is hard to believe that Sophie (now Mini) is already 9 months old. We are so thankful to her new dad for taking such great care of her. She is one special puppy! ♥️

We have wonderful news! Our little blind pup Walter has found his forever home!

When TAF saved Walter from Animal Control, he was in rough shape. With a large testicular tumor, rotten teeth and a large mass growing on his leg, we did not know what the future would hold for him. What we did know was that we would do everything in our power to give him the best quality of life. Walter was underweight and his initial test results showed that he was anemic. With the help of vitamin supplements and time, Walter would be strong enough for surgery in the weeks to come. During that time, our friends at The Moon Dog Farm offered to foster Walter. They were already caring for a few blind dogs and their knowledge and expertise would be an asset to Walter’s recovery. While at MDF, Walter found himself a very best friend. Her name is Spirit. Spirit is also blind and almost completely deaf. Walter finds Spirit and the two spend the day together and sleep together. With the beautiful bond that has formed, it has been decided that this new power couple just can’t be separated. Both in their twilight years, they deserve to stay together and use their love to guide the way. ♥️

Thank you to Jill and Scott for welcoming Walter into your family. Your unwavering dedication to special needs pups is truly something to be admired. He is one lucky little man.

*Spirit has been already been adopted by Jill & Scott, too.
