Pictures of beers, weekend edition. Great Simcoe SMaSH pale ale from to wash down a perfect burrito. My second (of many more to come) / Crown, winning the tailgate. A Mexico Calling from to pair with a winner. And a Spring Beer from that was as nice as the 73 degree patio weather. Not sure how to top this one, and summer has barely begun.

Stopped in for some pre-BUG grub and a few beers at the legendary and and enjoyed everything immensely. It’s certainly not easy to get to for a casual stop, but when you’re in the heart of the Loop, this is about as good as it gets. We enjoyed pours of their medal-winners Steam Engine (Kentucky Common) and Der Reisende (Export Stout). Had a dry-hopped sour and session pale ale with our food, and it all hit the spot.
