God has compassion for you…

I just finished reading Luke 7:11–17 with fresh eyes. Jesus raised a young man from the dead, but what stood out to me was this: His compassion was directed toward the mother, a widow, not the man who had died as I expected.

As I looked at the cultural context, it became even more powerful. This woman had lost her husband and now her only son. In that time, this placed her in one of the lowest positions imaginable. She lost her financial provision, her social covering, and her lineage. Her future, in the natural, was gone.

But here is the beauty of the story.
She never asked Jesus for a miracle.
She didn’t plead her case or explain her situation.
Jesus simply saw her… and had compassion on her.

And from that compassion, He raised her son back to life.

This reveals something profound about the heart of God. He is moved by human suffering. He sees the pain, often before we even put words to it in prayer. Not every miracle is triggered by “strong faith.” Some are released by His mercy alone.

This is for someone who feels unseen right now.

God sees you.
He sees what you are carrying.
He knows the weight of your pain.

The heart of the Father is turned toward you in this very moment.
Just like the widow, He is preparing for you a HOPE and a FUTURE. He will not pass you by.
