🚨 Turek Studio Quality Control 🚨

We’re working hard on photos from the March 14 NW2 trial in Channahon, IL (hosted by 4G & TB)…

…but nothing goes out without approval from our head inspector Fati

Today he’s performing a very advanced “shake test” to ensure top image quality.If it survives the shake — it makes the gallery. If not… back to editing 😂

At Turek.Studio, we might be obsessed with dogs 🐾 (yes, very much 😄)…
but moments like this remind us that every creature has personality, drama, and a story worth capturing.

And sometimes… that story is:
👉 “This is MY fish.”

We recently saw a great post by Kara Mergl Photography () that really resonated with us.

When photographing dogs, the experience matters just as much as the photos. A beautiful picture should never come at the expense of a dog’s comfort, safety, or happiness.

At Turek.Studio, this has always been our philosophy:

🐾 Understanding dog behavior matters.
Dogs communicate clearly when we know how to read them. If a dog needs a break, a reset, or just a moment to be themselves — we pause. No photo is worth stressing a dog.

🐾 Dogs don’t have to be perfect models.
Some dogs sit, some dogs wiggle, some dogs explore the world with their noses. That’s part of what makes them special. We move with them and capture who they truly are.

🐾 Safety is always first.
Leashes are absolutely welcome when needed. A safe dog is a relaxed dog — and editing software can easily remove a leash later.

At the end of the day, a photo session should feel like a fun experience for both the dog and their human — not a stressful photoshoot.

Because the best photos happen when dogs are simply allowed to be dogs.

When the photographer says:
“Give me a noble, majestic German Shepherd pose.”

And the model responds with:
“Best I can do is tongue out and drool.”

Still a 10/10 model. Would book again. 🖤🐺

We absolutely LOVE days like this — nothing makes us happier than lighting setups, dog hair on everything, and the promise of cuddling a whole squad of adorable pups. 🐶💛

We can’t wait to meet all your sweet dogs (yes, we will probably fall in love with every single one).

This time… it’s NOT a dog.

Yes. We checked twice.
No paws.
No tail wag.
No nosework title.

Just a bald eagle casually judging the entire world from his tree branch like,
“Amateurs.” 🦅

We promise we didn’t switch specialties… but when America’s CEO lands in front of your lens with the moon photobombing in the background, you take the shot. 📸✨

Dogs are still our true love (Fati approves this message), but every now and then we let someone with wings into the portfolio.
