Two hours of holiday traffic to get to Plainfield? Totally worth it.

Thursday afternoon was Vanessa and Nathaniel's rehearsal at The Farmhouse, and I had the best time finally meeting them in person after spending weeks getting to know them through their love story.

One of my favorite parts of being a wedding officiant is watching everything come together. Meeting the family and friends who have shaped a couple's journey adds so much depth to the ceremony I'll be sharing on wedding day. You can already feel how loved these two are.

It was also such a pleasure working alongside Lisa from The Farmhouse. She truly knows her stuff, keeps everything running smoothly, and creates such a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I have no doubt Sunday is going to flow beautifully with her leading the way behind the scenes.

I can't wait to stand with Vanessa and Nathaniel as they begin this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Sunday can't come soon enough!
