Motivation Monday = Focus on Outcomes! Today I had the pleasure of visiting one of our long standing employer partners S&C Electric. This is year 4 of ETHS students being exposed to careers at S&C. I visited our iKIT Summer Intern Ricardo on site to hear what he has learned this summer. I hear he is being considered for a full time position after his internship sunsets on August 11th! Yay! Win Win! 🎉

I also had a great meeting with Teri Mcelrath- Community Engagement Manager reviewing the coming school year Work- Based Learning Initiatives. We have a lot of great opportunities to continue our partnership. Thank you to Teri and her S&C colleagues helping us make it happen for high school students! 💙🧡

Another lovely day in the community.. I visited 3 iKIT Summer Interns placed at Westminster Place. Westminister did a great job identifying the best departments for high school students to intern this summer covering Sales / Marketing, Information Technology and Healthcare. It was great meeting with the interns! They are all building social capital/ connections and learning a ton!

I also had a great lunch with the Westminister Management Team to discuss our coming BNAT program 2024 /25 school year and Healthcare Expo on Jan.29, 2024!

It was a great day… I am so proud of our iKIT Summer Interns! 🧡💙🧡💙
