Over a year ago, I saw a post on Facebook from a friend looking for an assistant for a theater show. I was in a bit of a rut in my career and I said to myself, just send in some interest and see what happens.
That friend has become my mentor and has changed my career for the better. Every show, I learn and grow more as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and as a professional in general.
Thank you to and for taking a chance on me to help run these shows at . Also, thank you to and for being supportive in my career choices and growth.
I’m so excited to be on the crew for my fourth show with and I can’t wait for opening night tonight! 1 year of running around with a wig and pins on me: the best path I’ve chosen in a while.

Getting to see and meet some of my makeup industry idols over the weekend was just a blessing and I still feel the energy of the community flowing through my heart! Love you all!!!!

Hi dad!

It’s been 5 years since you’ve been gone. Summers have been the saddest: when the light hits right from the backyard, I feel like you’re back there working on the plants with Lana barking right behind you. We miss you everyday. I hope you’re watching us from wherever and that you’re blessing us with your presence everytime we think about you.

Thank you for being my number one cheerleader in my career and always being the best dad you can be, even if it was punishing my brother and I for being little sh*ts.
