You won’t believe this place is still part of Italy.

Somewhere in central Italy, there is a town that is slowly disappearing.

It’s called 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐝𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨 - and the only way to reach it is by crossing a long pedestrian bridge over a collapsing valley.

No cars. No proper roads. Just stone, silence, and time.

People call it “the dying city” because it sits on soft volcanic rock that keeps eroding underneath it.

And yet… it’s still alive.

In fact, only around 11–16 people still live there permanently.

Imagine waking up every day in a village that literally gets smaller over time.

FUN FACT:
Civita di Bagnoregio was founded by the Etruscans over 2,500 years ago.

Would you live in a place like this… or just visit it?
